The Careful Carriers was first established in Brisbane in 1954 by Syd Smith when he began hauling paper products around South East Queensland. The business was servicing a growing manufacturing company on a single body truck before pallets, air-conditioning, tautliners or computers were even invented.
Six decades later and the multi-generational business is owned and managed by Syd’s grandson, Zacc Smith. Zacc joined the family-owned business in 1994, taking over the Director’s role 10 years later when his father Kenneth Smith retired.
The company has expanded over the years and The Careful Carriers now has a versatile fleet of trailers, prime-movers, rigid trucks, wedge-line tautliners and utilities.
Our fleet has been designed to ensure we have the flexibility and capability to service your requirements, from small deliveries through to larger loads.
